Abstract

This folder contains material related to the proposed 2010 bond referendum in Rowan County for Rowan-Cabarrus Community College; this bond was for financial support to expand North Campus to support newly created health science programs and larger training grounds for emergency responders. First is a paperclipped packet of 6 letters/resolutions from different towns declaring their support for the bond. The towns are Granite Quarry, Salisbury, Kannapolis, and Cleveland. Second is the summary of capital projects and improvements for the proposed referendum, including needed funds for each. Lastly there are eight pieces of campaign paraphernalia, including: a business-card-size "Vote yes"; a strip of stickers for canvassers; three fliers containing information about the bond (one is backed on cardboard, clearly meant to be stood up on a counter for display); and three pieces of mail promoting the bond referendum.
