Newspaper clippings make up the bulk of the collection, along with press releases, policies and procedures, certificates, and a scrapbook honoring former Chairman of the Board Harold Kenerly.

Abstract

This collection contains material created by or about the Rowan-Cabarrus Community College Board of Trustees. Newspaper clippings are particularly represented along with press releases, policies and procedures, and a scrapbook honoring former Chairman of the Board Harold Kenerly.

Arrangement

The collection has been divided into 4 series: 1. Policies and Procedures; 2. Newspaper Clippings and other ephemera; 3. Ray Paradowski papers; and 4. Rowan-Cabarrus Community College Foundation records.

Within each series, folders are arranged in chronological order. Items within each folder are arranged chronologically with undated items held last.

Immediate Source of Acquisition

Most materials found in collection; there is no documentation concerning the provenance of these materials. Items in Series 3, Ray Paradowski papers, were donated by Ray Paradowki in June 2023.

Processing Information

Creator's file names were used where available; archivist supplied descriptive folder titles where the creator did not include one. The collection was arranged into series based on subject. Materials were placed in acid-free folders and boxes.
