Series 3 holds records donated by Ray Paradowski including oaths of office, certificates of completion, and newspaper clippings, among other records. Paradowski was appointed to the Board of Trustees by the Governor in 1988. In 1989 he was elected Vice-Chairman, and became Chairman in 1991. He served on various committee including the Building, Finance, Personnel, Executive, and Institutional Advancement Committees; was a member of the Executive Committee of the NC Association of Community College trustees; and served as a director of the RCCC Foundation. As Manager of Operations for National Starch and Chemical Company, Paradowski was responsible for major contributions to RCCC for scholarships and other purposes.
